History of Hufflepuff Pride Day
Hufflepuff Pride Day began on “Harry Potter”’s main website, the Pottermore website. The website was created by J.K Rowling who is the author of the “Harry Potter” series. She also assisted in directing this series. Hufflepuff Pride Day started as a way for fans to celebrate the house known for its good qualities.
Helga Hufflepuff founded the Hufflepuff household. She was born during the 10th century in Wales. She helped to establish the Hogwarts school with the help of her companions. The Hufflepuff household wasn’t the smartest or the bravest but they were the ones that were always ready to learn and they had other amazing qualities like patience and a penchant for justice.
She was well-known for her kind deeds and her kind heart which showed in her actions all through her life. She was the first witch to give the house-elves a home by bringing them into Hogwarts, protecting them from being mistreated and abused. She valued honesty, loyalty, and justice which were what the Hufflepuffs were known for and she took the responsibility of uniting the witches and wizards regardless of their background.
“Harry Potter” fans all over the world show their love and the pride they have for the household by wearing the house colors which are yellow and black and celebrating with family and friends to show just how much they love the wizarding world.
