Tori Bates

Background

Tori Bates is a well-known personality in the United States. She is known for being one of the 19 children of the Bates family. Born on December 20, 1995, to Gil Bates and Kelly Jo Callaham, she is the seventh child of the family. She was homeschooled and studied education at Crown College of the Bible. In 2012, T.L.C. aired one season of the show titled “United Bates of America,” which mainly focused on Tori’s family, and in 2015, UpTv began airing a similar show, “Bringing Up Bates,” which aired for 10 seasons.

She met Bobby Smith in 2015 through a mutual friend and they began dating in November 2016. On February 9, 2017, Tori announced that she was dating Bobby Smith. Soon they got engaged on September 21, 2017, and Bobby Smith proposed to her at Wiseman’s View, which is a scenic overlook in North Carolina. On December 16, 2017, Tori and Bobby married at Calvary Baptist Church in Knoxville Tennessee, her matron of honor was her sister Erin Paine and her maid of honor was her sister Carlin Bates. Her bridesmaids were her sisters Michaela Keilen, Alyssa Webster, and Josie, and Katie Bates, her sister-in-law Whitney Bates, and her friends Devonna Killin, Kaitlyn Stewart, and Abby Paine.

On May 10, 2018, Tori and Bobby announced that they were expecting their first child, and on November 9, 2019, Tori gave birth to her first child, Robert Kade Ellis Smith IV at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. On 25, 2020, Tori gave birth to her second son, Kolter Gray Smith. On June 24, 2021, Tori gave birth to Charlotte Raine Smith and is expecting their fourth child in August 2022.
