Kirk Frost

Background

Kirk Frost was born on January 30, 1969, in Atlanta, Georgia. His parents were Thomas and Gloria. Frost has three brothers, with Keith Frost being the eldest one. However, Keith died in 2019, shortly after their mom, Gloria, passed away in 2018. These were tragic events for the Frost family, but their faith in God and family prevailed.

While producing his company’s first single ‘Shorty Swing My Way’ for Da Kaperz in 1998, he met Rasheeda, who was part of the trio. Frost married Rasheeda a year later in 1999 and agreed to be her manager after the band had split. In 2000, the couple’s first son, Ky, was born. Between 2001 and 2009, Kirk remained serving as manager of Rasheeda and producing some of her biggest albums, such as “Dirty South,” “Ghetto Dream,” “Dat Type of Gurl,” and “Certified Hot Chick.”

In 2012, after presenting Rasheeda’s sixth release “Boss Chick Music,” “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” premiered on VH1, where Frost was a secondary cast member, appearing as Rasheeda’s supportive husband who got into trouble constantly and their marriage had obstacles all along. The show was met with good reviews and so it went with the third season in 2013. That same year, Karter, Frost’s second son with Rasheeda, was born. Despite some controversies of infidelity, the marriage prevailed and embraced the other two kids that Frost had with other women: Kannon, born in 2016, and Kirk Jr whose mom and date of birth are unclear, but we know he is Frost’s oldest son. For “L.H.H.A.T.L’s” 10th season (2021), Frost was cast as a main member of the show.
