Moore was born on September 8, 1979, to Judith Moore and James Moore. Her mother was an E.R. nurse, while her father was an insurance salesman. Moore’s parents got a divorce when she turned 10, and she attended Central Bucks High School West, where she joined her first band. By 14 years, Moore began performing in Philadelphia clubs. In 1995, Pink formed the R&B band Choice, with two teenage girls, Sharon Flanagan and Chrissy Conway. The group signed a record deal at LaFace Records, Atlanta. As a solo artist, Pink released her debut single, ‘There You Go,’ in February 2000. The single became a Billboard Hot 100 top-ten hit.
