Ronald Joseph Radke, also known as Ronnie Radke, was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the U.S. He is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, musician, and record producer best known for being the current lead singer of Falling in Reverse and the former lead singer of Escape the Fate. Radke is one of three brothers. He learned to play piano and guitar when he was a child and he formed several bands while in high school. He dropped out a few times because he was preoccupied with his music career.
Radke started the band Escape the Fate in 2004 together with Max Green, Bryan Money, Robert Ortiz, and Omar Espinosa. Carson Allen later joined the band as a keyboardist. The band recorded a demo titled ‘Escape the Fate E.P.’ and signed with Epitaph Records in 2006 after winning a radio contest judged by My Chemical Romance, which launched their career. The band began recording for their debut album in 2006, but in 2008, Radke was sent to prison for violating his parole and he was consequently kicked out of the band. During his time in prison, Radke started working on new songs for his upcoming band, Falling in Reverse, which was formed in 2010. In the same year, the new band released their first single ‘Raised by Wolves’ followed by the album “The Drug in Me is You” which was released in 2011.
Radke created his YouTube channel in 2013 and released his first solo song titled ‘Fair-Weather Fans.’ In 2013, he started work on a mixtape in collaboration with popular rap artists such as B. LaY. The mixtape “Watch Me” was released in 2014.
