Background

Francisco James Muniz IV was born on December 5, 1985, in Ridgewood, New Jersey, as the second child of Frank and Denise Muniz. Known by the name Frankie Muniz, he has been homeschooled since the sixth grade. He looked up to Christina, his sister, who had taken up acting classes. Feeling confident that he could do the same, the young boy set out to follow in her footsteps, applying for theatrical productions and eventually landing several roles.

When young actors were in high demand for T.V. programs, Muniz was fortunate enough to get roles in some of the most popular ones, including “Spin City” (1996) and “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” (1996). Following that, the half-Puerto Rican, half-Irish actor appeared in two more big-screen films, “Lost & Found” (1999) and “Little Man” (1999). He felt he could do more at that point, so he agreed to star in the comedy series “Malcolm in the Middle” (2000), in which he portrayed both the narrator and the center of a dysfunctional family.

In “102 Dalmatians: Puppies to the Rescue” (2000), he made his debut appearance as a voice actor. Muniz also dabbled in music and became a drummer for the unsigned band You Hang Up. He joined the band Kingsfoil, based in York, Pennsylvania, in 2012. However, he had to leave the band in 2014 due to schedule conflicts. He claimed on Facebook in 2017 that he is the manager of the York-based band Astro Lasso, which features Jordan Davis and Tristan Martin from his previous band, Kingsfoil.

In July 2005, he proposed to Jamie Grady, whom he met on the set of “Stay Alive” while filming. They did, however, call a halt to the proceedings afterward. Paige Price, whom Muniz began dating in 2016, is now his wife. On February 21, 2020, they tied the knot. The couple has a son named Mauz Mosley Muniz. Muniz left the entertainment industry in 2008 to pursue a career as a professional race car driver. From 2008 to 2009, he raced in the Formula B.M.W. U.S.A. Championship before stepping up to the ChampCar Atlantic Championship. He was fourth in the Championship standings with two races to go in 2009 before suffering a season-ending injury that necessitated numerous surgeries.
