St. Vincent, an American musician, and songwriter has created exceptional music throughout her career. She has won three well-deserved Grammy Awards. St. Vincent was born Anne Erin ‘Annie’ Clark in Dallas, Texas, where she was raised and went to school. Her career eventually started when she became an invaluable member of the Polyphonic Spree. She had amazing performances that helped her develop her skills as an entertainer and she later joined Sufjan Stevens’s touring band, allowing her to travel and experience her audience in different places. She learned how to own her craft and deliver excellently every time.
By the year 2006, St. Vincent was ready to go out on her own. She decided to form her own band and went ahead to release her debut solo album which was titled “Marry Me.” Her debut album was released in 2007, and her next album came in 2009 and it was called “Actor.” Two years later, in 2011, her eager audience had the pleasure of hearing “Strange Mercy.” “Love This Giant” was the next project released by St. Vincent, an album that she made in collaboration with David Byrne of Talking Heads.
St. Vincent is a multi-talented individual who has branched out and tried more than just music. She showcased her talent when she wrote and directed a segment in the 2017 anthology horror film “XX.” For the psychological thriller film “The Nowhere Inn,” St. Vincent co-wrote the script and played a starring role.
