His mother, Constance Marie, was a homemaker, while his father, Gary Lee Seacrest, was a real estate lawyer who served in the U.S. Army. Seacrest’s interest in shows began in childhood. He attended Dunwoody High School, and at 16, won an internship at 94.1 WSTR. At WSTR, Tom Sullivan trained Seacrest. Seacrest worked the weekend overnight shift, remaining there until his high school graduation. Seacrest got admitted to the University of Georgia, where he studied journalism.
