Christopher Lloyd, born on October 22, 1938, is a notable actor who appeared in numerous roles in films, television, and theater productions since the 1960s. Christopher Allen Lloyd was born in Stamford, Connecticut, U.S. His mother, Ruth Lloyd, was a singer. She was also the younger sister of Roger Lapham, the mayor of San Francisco at the time. His father, Samuel R. Lloyd, worked as a lawyer. He is the youngest of five siblings — two girls and three boys. One of his brothers, Samuel Lloyd, was a notable actor in the 1950s. During his time at this school, Lloyd helped set up its theater company called the Staples Players. Thereafter he took up non-broadway roles in plays like “The Harlot and the Hunted,” “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” and “Total Eclipse.” He bagged his first film role soon after and appeared in the 1995 movie titled “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.” In 1978, his popularity grew by leaps and bounds as he began portraying ‘Reverend Jim Ignatowski in the popular sitcom “Taxi.”
