The World Day of Muslim Culture, Peace, Dialogue, and Film was created in 2010 by the writer and producer Javed Mohammed, from the San Francisco bay area. Javed Mohammed is also the founder of “MyFavoriteReview.” On March 11, 2010, he declared the day a special observance dedicated to informing, sharing, and discussing the Muslim culture. Javed hoped to use art, culture, and film to create a link and open the forum for dialogue with the hope of giving insight into and helping people understand, the Muslim culture, regardless of religious denominations.
