National Kickball Day

National Kickball Day is celebrated on 17 April. It’s time to hit the playground for some good old-fashioned ball-kicking action. Kickball is a widely enjoyed sport all around the globe. In some parts of Canada, the game is known as soccer baseball, while in the United Kingdom, it is known as football rounders. It has existed since the early 1900s. Originally named Kick Baseball, the game was used by gymnastics teachers to teach baseball kids the basics of baseball. The game is played on the field and uses three bases, a pitcher pile, and a home plate.
Ravenclaw Pride Day

Let your Ravenclaw flag fly high this Ravenclaw Pride Day, which comes around each year on March 23. Just like the other houses from Hogwarts — Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin — on their own pride days, Ravenclaw’s special day celebrates everything about this house, from the house colors to its eccentric alumni. While Ravenclaw Pride Day is a global event, celebrations mostly take place in the U.K. and the U.S. If you want to celebrate in style, check out our gift guide for Harry Potter fans.
