Act Happy Day

Act Happy Day is an annual event celebrated on the third Monday of March and this year it will be marked on March 16. Do you know that it has been almost 20 years since Act Happy Day was created? Act Happy Day was created by Dr. Dale Anderson who believed that simply acting happy, even when one did not feel so, could bring a positive change in life. People celebrate this day by doing everything that helps them get a good laugh. The activities can be anything from watching movies, comedy specials, or just getting together with close friends who always lighten up the mood.

Won’t You Be My Neighbor Day

Won’t You Be My Neighbor Day is celebrated every year on March 20. The day honors, celebrates, and appreciates the late Fred Rogers, the immensely popular host of the preschool TV series “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood” which ran from 1968 to 2001. Although it has not aired for the past 21 years, many people still consider “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood” as the standard by which they measure all other kids’ shows. The show is so iconic that those who grew up in the ’70s and ’80s would surely have watched Mister Rogers head to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe and sing songs with his puppet friends.

Hufflepuff Pride Day

Hufflepuff Pride Day is celebrated on March 20 every year. This special day celebrates the Hufflepuff house from the popular “Harry Potter” series. The house was well-known for its gold and black badger insignia, as well as its rooms with yellow hanging walls and fat armchairs. There were four main houses in the “Harry Potter” series — Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, Slytherin, and Ravenclaw. Hufflepuff Pride Day celebrates the house and its members as they were known for their kindness, hard work, and unquestionable loyalty. Distinguished members of the house include Nymphadora Tonks and Cedric Diggory.
