Background

WinWin was born in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China, on October 28, 1997. His birth name is Dong Sicheng. WinWin entered the Affiliated Secondary School of Beijing Dance Academy in 2009 after placing first in art dance. He was scouted by South Korea’s multinational entertainment company, S.M. Entertainment, during his freshman year in high school. However, it was not until the S.M. scouts returned to persuade him multiple times did he finally agree to accept their offer. WinWin departed for South Korea for a month of training before returning to China to finish his education.

In 2015, WinWin became famous after he was accepted to multiple schools because of his incredible dancing talent. He decided on the Central Academy of Drama’s performance department, eventually joining S.M. Entertainment as a trainee. On January 5, 2016, WinWin was introduced alongside Kun as a member of the S.M. ROOKIES. He attended the 16th Annual Music Awards with N.C.T. U. on April 9, 2016, belting out a solo dance performance and participating in “The 7th Sense” with other N.C.T. U. members. A month later, he appeared in the variety show “N.C.T. Life in Seoul.” In July, he was officially announced as a member of N.C.T. 127, followed by the release of the group’s mini-album “N.C.T. #127.”

WinWin was announced to be among the formation of the Chinese boyband WayV on the group’s official Weibo account in December 2018. A month later, he made his debut with WayV as they released their digital E.P., “The Vision.” WinWin took part in the project unit N.C.T. 2020 for WayV’s second full album, “N.C.T. Resonance Pt. 1,” followed by “N.C.T. Resonance Pt. 2,” and the album’s final single, “Resonance.” In 2021, WinWin established his personal studio to manage his activities in China.
