Born William Gutierrez Levy on August 29, 1980, in Cojim, Cuba, he traces Jewish ancestry on his mother’s side. He was raised by a single mother, Barbara, and took his last name, Levy, from her. He returned to Mexican television in 2013 with the show “La Tempestad.” The following year, he co-starred in the Tyler Perry movie “The Single Moms Club,” which was a moderate success. Then in 2017, he was cast in the lead role in the American post-apocalyptic movie “The Veil.” In 2018, he appeared in the role of Mateo Ferrera in the third season of the Lee Daniels series “Star”. In 2019, he decided to venture into film production, producing and acting in the Spanish movie “En Brazos De Un Asesino” “(In the Arms of a Murderer”), which was a hit. That same year, he also opened a restaurant in Miami called Level 29, which serves Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine.
