Background

Veronica Merrell was born to Paul and Wendy Merrell in Kansas City, Missouri. She and her sister Vanessa had always harbored an interest in the entertainment industry but eventually realized that there weren’t a lot of opportunities for them to kickstart their dream in Missouri. They had their first commercial in 2008 for Build-A-Bear, and they first uploaded a video on YouTube in 2009. Paul, their producer, and father, moved the entire family to Los Angeles, California, to give his girls better shots at entering the entertainment industry. The girls landed a short-term deal with Disney Channel to make shorts, and surprisingly, they managed to attract quite an audience.

Merrell and her sister understood the importance of a good education, and they enrolled in California State University, Northridge in 2015. Merrell studied Screenwriting and in her freshman year, the Merrell twins joined the Better Make Room campaign aimed at inspiring students to pursue higher education. They were featured severally in the television show, “Jane the Virgin” in 2015, and also appeared in the 2016 film, “The Standoff.” Both girls became the stars of AwesomenessTV’s series, “What the Truck”, “Teen Survival Guide,” and “Food Truck Fanatics .” Over the years, and with consistent effort, the Merrell Twins can boast of over six million subscribers and over a billion views on their YouTube channel.

Merrell isn’t known to have been in a bunch of relationships in the past, but she is happily married to her heartthrob, Aaron Burriss. The two lovebirds tied the knot on December 27, 2021. Expanding their reach, the Merrell twins upload funny and lifestyle content regularly on TikTok, Instagram, and other social media platforms, keeping us all entertained.
