Simpkins played the infant Jack Manning, the only child of Blair and Todd Manning on the show. He appeared for just a few episodes, but the journey to stardom had begun in earnest. The actor went on to appear in print ads and commercials. He also bagged a recurring role in “Guiding Light” as Jude Cooper Bauer for four years. Fans may have also seen him as a guest star on “Law & Order: Criminal Intent.”
Simpkins got his first movie break in 2005 with Steven Spielberg’s “War of the Worlds.” A string of film roles followed soon after.
