Nick Mara

Background

Nick Mara, born November 8, 1997, grew up with his family in his native Englishtown, New Jersey. He has an older sister named Mia and two younger brothers — Chris and Rob Mara. The Mara boys are of Italian and Irish descent through their parents’ families. Unfortunately, we have no further information about his parents or his education, but we can deduce that he studied his basic school years in Englishtown. Mara lived here until he found success in what would become a fertile and celebrated career as a dancer, leading him to dance for various celebrities and on such renowned channels as M.T.V. and Disney.

It all started for Mara in 2011. He participated in the program “Americas Best Dance Crew” produced by M.T.V. Thanks to this appearance, Mara found more jobs as a dancer in “Shake it Up,” produced by Disney, M.T.V.’s “MADE,” and “Saturday Night Live.” He also started posting videos of himself dancing on social networks. This dedication was well rewarded. Simon Cowell discovered the young dancer and called him to Los Angeles for an audition. Once Cowell confirmed Mara’s talent, he formed the group PRETTYMUCH with four other boys. The band would require Mara’s dancing talents but would also require vocal talent. Mara also sings in the band and has also been a successful actor. The short film “Freman Velocity” and the show “Me and Caesar Lee” are two examples of projects in which Mara has delighted us with his acting skills.
