Neptune

Background

Dylan Friedlinghaus, known by his stage name Neptune, is an American YouTuber and musical artist born and raised in California to parents Meagen and Ryan. From a young age, he displayed an interest in music, specifically singing, and when he was eight years old, thanks to the encouragement of a family friend, will.i.am, he started nurturing his vocal talents. He didn’t immediately enter the music industry and instead created two YouTube channels, “Dynamite Dylan” and “Dylans_World,” where he started to gain fame.

In 2018, he released a single titled ‘YOU,’ which featured famous American rapper Post Malone. The song did very well on the charts, and spent an impressive eight weeks on Billboard’s “Pop Digital Song Sales” Chart, peaking at number 14. After parting ways with YouTube squad “Team10” shortly after, he began making music full-time and has been a hit on the music scene since. Some of his other tracks include ‘Strawberry Lemonade,’ ‘Shiny Demise,’ and ‘Into The Night.’

In his other ventures, he loves to stream his favorite games and still creates vlogs on the side. He also sells merchandise, which features his moniker, Neptune, on his website. While he is still relatively new to the music industry, he has talent and is sure to make a household name for himself. And with the celebrities he is associating himself with, we are sure he is being coached and mentored to be the best he can be in the world of music.
