Background

Jared Johnson was born on December 9, 1986, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is the second winner after Trixie Mattel and the third city representative to compete on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” (winner of All Stars Season three). She attributes Milwaukee’s feeling of community and diversity of drag, particularly its country tongue, as key influences. She gave a series of performances at Hamburger Mary’s.

Johnson started her drag journey in early 2010. She became well-known in the drag community by competing in pageants and taking home awards including Miss Five, Miss Gay Madison, Miss Wisconsin Club, and Miss City of the Lakes. Additionally, she gave a halftime performance at a 2019 Milwaukee Bucks game. She played at LadyLand Festival with Christina Aguilera in September 2021. She gave performances at PridetoberFest and the 10th annual Night of the Living Drag: The North American Halloween Tour the following month. Both events were held at the Henry Maier Festival Park in Milwaukee.

In January 2022, Johnson was included in the rotating cast of a dozen Drag Race queens in “RuPaul’s Drag Race Live!,” a Las Vegas show residency at the Flamingo Las Vegas. Johnson appeared on stage with Katy Perry in March as part of the “RuPaul’s Drag Race Live!” cast’s appearance at Resorts World Las Vegas’ Play concert series. She presented a TikTok-sponsored fashion show in April 2022 that was inspired by the Grammys. She identifies as queer and is in a relationship with a person whose identity is unknown.
