Gabbie Hanna is a recognized name within and outside YouTube. Her creativity and infectious personality have made her a fan favorite. However, the journey wasn’t as glamorous as the destination. Hanna was born in Pennsylvania on February 7, 1991. She was born into a large family of eight, with six siblings. Hanna has French, Polish, and Lebanese ancestry, with her star sign being Aquarius. Hanna has a college degree in which she majored in Psychology and Communications at the University of Pittsburgh and graduated in 2013.
After college, while working in retail, Hanna started posting skits on Vine. She started gaining recognition on the app and amassed five million followers before its termination. In 2014, Hanna branched out to YouTube, and set up a channel called “The Gabbie Show.” Luckily for her, she had something to fall back on when Vine shut down in 2016. With over a million YouTube subscribers, Hanna got nominated for two Teen Choice Awards in 2016. In 2017, she started exploring music and released her debut single, ‘Out Loud,’ the same year. She also joined M.T.V’s social media team. By 2018, Hanna had been nominated at the iHeartRadio Music Awards for the Social Star Award.
Hanna has released songs and E.Ps since then. She has quite an impressive filmography from “Escape the Night,” to hosting the M.T.V. V.M.As backstage, and many others. She has also published two books, “Adultolescence” (2017) and “Dandelion” (2020) — both of which are “New York Times” Best Sellers. Hanna currently has over five million subscribers on YouTube, almost three million followers on Instagram, and several more across her other social media platforms. Her relationship life isn’t as exciting. She dated Payton Saxon for a while, but the pair broke up in June 2021.
