Chandler Riggs was born in Georgia’s capital city of Atlanta. He is Gina Ann Riggs and William Riggs’ son and he was raised with his younger brother, Grayson. His father is a member of the band Jillhammer. He is descended from English, German, Scottish, and a distant Welsh lineage. Riggs graduated from Woodstock, Georgia’s Etowah High School. He was also home-educated for a few years prior to enrolling in a traditional school.

Riggs was only five years old when he won his first part as Egon, a.k.a. Zombie, in the indie horror flick “Jesus H. Zombie” in 2006.
