ROK Alliance Day

ROK Alliance Day is observed on October 1 annually. It marks the anniversary of the signing of the U.S.-ROK Mutual Defense Treaty in 1953, marking the beginning of the alliance between the United States and the Republic of Korea. The Korea Defense Veterans Association (K.D.V.A) established this day in September 2021 as a national day to celebrate the millions of American and Korean veterans who fought in the Korean War and served in Korea since the Armistice Agreement was signed in July 1953. Its goal is to give Americans and Koreans a calm and secure living.

Teacher’s Day in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan celebrates Teacher’s Day every October 1. This holiday is devoted to the nation’s teachers and educators. Although the festival has only been regarded as an official holiday for a few years, it has quickly become a vital custom that the public has enthusiastically embraced. The day emphasizes the importance of the facts and school subjects taught by teachers and the values and other life skills they impart.

National Puppy Mill Survivor Day

National Puppy Mill Survivor Day is commemorated every year on September 30. It’s a day to remember all of the dogs that have been rescued from puppy mills, as well as those who never found their way out. It takes place on the last day of Puppy Mill Awareness Month and aims to raise awareness about the link between puppy mills and the pet stores and websites where they sell their puppies. Bailing Out Benji established this day in September 2021 to bring attention to the dogs that have been rescued from this horrific enterprise.
