Zach Herron

Background

Zachary Dean Herron, popularly known as Zach Herron, is an exceptional vocalist well-known in the music industry. His cute smiles, killer voice, and raw talent set him apart from the crowd and equally won him fans worldwide. Herron was born on May 27, 2001, in Dallas, Texas. His parents are Myta and Josh Dean Herron, and he has two younger siblings, Ryan and Reese. He is of English and Irish descent and a Gemini. He joined his high school choir and received honors in talent shows.

Although Herron had been singing all his life, everything changed in a year. Herron’s first glimpse of fame came in January 2016 after his cover of Shawn Mendes’ ‘Stitches’ went viral. The cover generated over 10 million views on YouTube. Riding this fame wave, Herron decided to put out his music the same month. His second single, ‘Why,’ debuted in June 2016. In September, Herron joined the five-man band, Why Don’t We. The band dropped their debut E.P. on November 25. The band released “Something Different,” their second E.P, in April 2017. Following their strides, they signed with Atlantic Records in September 2017. They then released their fifth E.P. in November 2017, and on August 31, 2018, their first studio album, “8 Letters,” dropped. In March 2019, the band went on an album tour.

Herron deserves all the accolades as a bandmate. Why Don’t We released a song for every month of 2019. Some of their songs have been R.I.A.A. Gold Certified. Their second studio album, “The Good Times and the Bad Ones,” dropped in January 2021, and debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 albums chart. He is currently single and shares his success with his family.
