Steven Ogg

Background

Steven Ogg was born in Calgary, Alberta’s largest city, in Canada. His zodiac sign is Scorpio, and he has Scottish and English ancestry. Ogg’s love for acting began when he acted in a play in elementary school. Next, he acted in an advertisement for the National Film Board of Canada when he was ten. He then spent the next few years working in theater performances. After stabilizing his acting career, he turned his attention to volleyball, and he was on course to becoming a professional volleyball player. Unfortunately, a career-ending injury ended his sporting hopes, and he returned to acting. He also left Canada for New York after the accident.

He had only $500 to his name when he arrived in New York. So, he lived with Rebecca Romijn, a supermodel he met in Paris. In 2000, he got a role in “Law & Order” (1990) and worked on a few other films. After working for a while, he took a six-year break from acting to build a house in Connecticut. He even had some of his friends join him on the project.

In 2013, Rockstar Games hired him to voice the Trevor Philips character in their “Grand Theft Auto V” video game. His character was critically acclaimed, and in 2014, Ogg won an award at the New York Videogame Critics Circle Awards for ‘Best Overall Acting in a Game.’ In 2015, he played Simon in season six of “The Walking Dead,” and he got lead roles in H.B.O.’s “Westworld”(2016) and season two of “The Tick”(2016).
