Lathan Moses Stanley Echols, popularly known as Lil Mosey, was born in Mountlake Terrace, Washington, and became an internet sensation quickly. He was raised by his mother and graduated from 5 Terrace High. Echols relocated to Seattle when he was two years old and started rapping at a young age. He began his musical career in grade eight and attended Shorecrest High School till he graduated in grade 10. Echols eventually quit college to concentrate on his singing career. Kari Cash, one of Seattle’s many well-known rappers, was the first to back Mosey’s career.

After his debut track release, ‘Off White,’ on SoundCloud in 2016, it rapidly became a great smash. On SoundCloud, his single ‘Pull Up’ garnered over 11 million streams, catapulting him to stardom.
