He was raised by his mother and graduated from 5 Terrace High. Echols relocated to Seattle when he was two years old and started rapping at a young age. He began his musical career in grade eight and attended Shorecrest High School till he graduated in grade 10. Echols eventually quit college to concentrate on his singing career. Kari Cash, one of Seattle’s many well-known rappers, was the first to back Mosey’s career.
