Background

The influential and talented rapper Yungeen Ace, was born Keyanta Bullard, on February 12, 1998, in Chicago, Illinois. His family later moved to Florida while he was still a child, and he grew up there. He was born into a family of 12 and lived through the struggles of poverty and a desperate environment. He was introduced to street life in his teenage years, surrounded by crime and danger. Music was his only outlet, so he started writing and recording his solo singles, and in 2018, he released his debut single, ‘No Witness.’ He started gaining recognition, so he continued releasing music. During the same year, however, he was involved in a drive-by shoot-out in Jacksonville, which left him with multiple gunshot wounds that he luckily survived. Unfortunately, his brother and two of his friends did not survive.

Right after the shooting incident, Bullard was involved in legal troubles and was put under house arrest. This delayed the release of his debut mixtape that followed in August. The second mixtape, “Life I’m Living,” followed later the same year. He released “Can’t Speak on It” in 2019 and “Step Harder” and “Don Dada” both in 2020. The first mixtape’s collection was of singles inspired and written at the time of his tragic loss, which featured YoungBoy Never Broke Again and JayDaYoungan. The “Step Harder” collection in 2019 had features like Boosie Badazz and Lil Durk. The “Don Dada” mixtape in 2020 depicted his first big project of 2021.

The abundant line-up of singles took him through 2021. Such singles included, ‘Withdraw from life’ and ‘Fighting Pain’ which bore, ‘Opp Boyz’ and ‘Gun Em Down.’ His unlimited success came when he released ‘Who I Smoke’ in 2021, which had sampled ‘A Thousand Miles,’ originally by Vanessa Carlton, for a diss track. He released his full-length debut album later that same year titled “Life of Betrayal 2x.” He has also gathered a massive following on social media throughout his career, with over 2.8 million followers on Instagram and 706,000 followers on Twitter, with whom he interacts regularly.
