Companiondish has been a part of a phenomenon that’s been pretty hard to miss — the rise of gaming and esports. Like millions of passionate gamers around the world, she has discovered that through live streaming platforms like Twitch. She can transmit herself playing her favorite games live to a dedicated audience, and even get paid to do so! Companiondish was born on February 14, 1996, in Los Angeles, California. Her zodiac sign is Aquarius and her ethnicity is Italian-American. At first, her TikToks had nothing to do with gaming, where she post short videos on a variety of topics, like cooking. Her first handle was @kindakitchen, but shortly after, she changed it to @dishrag. Dish’s TikToks started to gain more and more views, and in March of 2020, she created an account on Twitch and posted a clip of it on TikTok, in which she got her first Twitch donation while playing “Animal Crossing.”

She continued posting both short videos on various topics and clips from her live streams, now also including cooking, “Minecraft,” “Portal,” “Among Us,” and other games, as well as uploading YouTube videos of the same topics, throughout most of 2020. In August of that same year, she reached 100,000 followers on TikTok and became a full-time Twitch streamer. In October of 2020, she changed her handle to @companiondish and started streaming the popular Chinese role-playing action video game, “Genshin Impact.” She quickly became a very popular player in the game and increased her already growing popularity substantially.

The year 2021 also brought many good things to Dish’s life. Aside from ever-increasing viewership and popularity, she got partnered on Twitch, as well as with the gaming company HyperX, and celebrated her first streaming anniversary by streaming on their channel in March. In August, she released her first line of merchandise. She is now sponsored by HyperX, the esports energy drink G Fuel, and meal delivery service Factor. Dish’s main TikTok content is now her live stream clips, but she still shares the occasional videos on other topics, like her daily life with her husband and the struggles she faces.
