Avery Gay

Background

What if we asked a younger version of you what she/he wants to be when they grow up? Maybe a doctor or an astronaut? However, if you questioned the younger Avery Gay, she would say she wanted to be a dancer. And she turned out to be a dancer and a very excellent one. Gay was born in Scottsdale, Arizona, in the United States of America, on May 25, 2004. Her personal life is relatively unknown, except for the fact that she has a brother named Jack Gay.

When it comes to her dancing days, Gay began dancing at a very young age. She began training in several genres of dance at the age of four. She trained the dance at Centrestage Dance Studio in Scottsdale. As she experimented with other forms of dance, she began performing “The Nutcracker” at the age of eight, and by nine years old, she was more interested in studying ballet and started to attend ballet courses. She began more than 30 hours of weekly ballet training at the Master Ballet Academy.

Gay began traveling across the world performing ballet soirees after numerous hours of training. She not only went on tours, but she also won the Y.A.G.P. Grishko Model Contest, and also was featured in “Pointe” magazine. She became an ambassador for the Joffrey Ballet and Grishko U.S.A., and she appeared on various reality dance television, including “NBC’s Little Big Shots,” “World of Dance,” and a variety of other dance shows. Her passion for dance is still strong, and she plans to attend the University of Southern California. Gay has just one goal in life which is to compete in the dance competition led by the famous Willian Forsythe in U.S.C. After graduating, she aspires to work as a professional dancer and choreographer.
