National Family P.J. Day is celebrated on November 14 to remind us that the real comfort lies in spending time with our family as we all rock our matching P.Js. Pajamas, lovingly known as P.Js or jammies, are worn as loungewear or nightwear in distinct parts of the world. For Americans, P.Js are the ultimate comfort wear. National Family P.J. Day encourages all Americans to pull their favorite jammies out of the closet and lounge with their families.
World Quality Day

World Quality Day is observed every year on the second Thursday in November. This year, it falls on November 13. The purpose of this day is to raise quality awareness and provide support to individuals and organizations for the achievement of economic prosperity and the adoption of high-quality standards. In 2008, the first World Quality Day took place in London, United Kingdom (U.K.). Every year, the theme of World Quality Day is decided by the Chartered Quality Institute (C.Q.I.). Some of the previous themes included “Sustainability: Improving Our Products, People, and Planet” and “Creating Customer Value.”
Marooned Without a Compass Day

Marooned Without a Compass Day is celebrated on November 6 to put a spotlight on the direction of our lives, or the lack of it. On this day, we ask ourselves the hard questions. Where is my life going? Am I happy? In a rather literal sense, ‘marooned’ means being trapped alone in a place, but in a mindful sense, it describes the ecstatic gloom that comes with being lost in our life. The day is all about climbing up from the rock bottom of our lives and becoming our compass.
