National Dance/Movement Therapy Advocacy Day is celebrated every June 13 to educate more people about the new and unique form of psychotherapy called dance/movement therapy making waves around the world. It addresses mental health by honing in on the body, movement, and dance as a natural expression that aids physical and psychological healing. Furthermore, it’s a holistic therapy that believes that the mind, body, and spirit are interconnected and that changes in the body reflect changes in the mind and vice versa. Numerous people have benefited from this form of therapy worldwide, and many more are starting to practice it each day!
T. T. Bank Holiday

The T. T. Race Week wouldn’t be complete without observing the T.T. Bank Holiday on the Friday of the first full week of June, which is June 6 this year. The T.T Bank Holiday, which originated on the Isle of Man, has grown to become one of the world’s most famous motorcycle sporting events. It usually marks the end of the yearly racing week and includes a slew of motorcycle displays that create spectacular action for both race fans and tourists. The main event, also known as Senior Race Day, features one of the world’s most daring road racing competitions.
Sette Giugno

Sette Giugno, or June 7, also celebrated on June 7, is one of Malta’s five national holidays. Unfortunately, Sette Giugno means nothing more than a day off from work and a chance to enjoy a beverage by the sea. Though we recognize that sipping that cocktail is a delightful experience in and of itself, we also believe learning about Malta’s history and why they have national holidays in the first place is critical.
Sette Giugno, or ‘Seventh of June’ in Italian, is an annual Maltese national festival commemorating events that occurred on June 7, 1919. Following a series of uprisings by the Maltese population, British forces fired into the crowd, killing four and wounding 50 people.
