Background

Yoon Jeonghan is a celebrated pop singer born on October 4, 1995, in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul to South Korean parents. His birth sign is Libra, which explains his pleasant personality. His outstanding talent and charisma have set him apart from the other members of the K-pop group, SEVENTEEN. He has a sister with whom he’s very close. He attended Hyangnam High School in Seoul where he graduated and was recognized as the third-best student. He subsequently enrolled in Dong-ah Institute of Media and Arts, which is located in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.

He rose to prominence soon after joining SEVENTEEN as its lead vocalist, earning a huge following. In 2013, he signed with Pledis Entertainment where he trained for two years and two months. Together with another member of SEVENTEEN, he released the hit single ‘17 Carats,’ which became very popular. A bass guitarist, he performed at the S.B.S. Awards Festival alongside other renowned artists in 2014 and the following year, he was featured in a lead role in Phantom Kiggen’s “Playback” music video. He has appeared on entertainment platforms such as “Seventeen TV” and “Wapop Concert.”

He has been featured in a number of magazines such as “Cosmopolitan” and “ELLE.” He is also a talented songwriter and has been involved in the writing of several songs in his band’s albums like “Teen, Age” and “AI1” in 2017. He also wrote ‘Falling for U’ on the “Director’s Cut” album in 2018 and ‘AHI LOVE’ on an album titled “Semicolon,” released in 2020. He writes his own songs such as ‘Dream,’ which has both Korean and Japanese versions. In 2021, he was named an ambassador of Banila Co, a leading makeup company in South Korea.
