Min Yoon-gi is a South Korean singer, rapper, and songwriter, born on March 9, 1993. He is better known by his stage name Suga and alias name Agust D. Suga was born and raised with his older brother Min Junki in one of the largest cities in South Korea, Daegu. In 2006, in Daegu, Suga got familiar with MIDI and started writing lyrics at the tender age of 13 years old. Suga got a part-time job at Big Hit Entertainment in 2010, where he worked as a delivery man to pay his tuition fees.

One of Suga’s memorable moments in his professional career was his debut with the Korean-pop boys’ group, BTS, in 2013. After two years with BTS, Suga got his first solo intro, ‘The Most Beautiful Moment In Life,’ during which he rapped about the fears of getting closer to adulthood. Suga’s solo alias, Agust D, originated in 2016, when he released the self-titled mixtape, “Agust D,” on SoundCloud. It wasn’t long until Agust D won his first award at the 2017 Melon Music Awards for the Best Soul/R&B Track of the Year.
