Phaedra Creonta Parks was born and raised in Athens, Georgia, United States. Her father is Henry Parks, and her mother is Regina Bell. Her father was a pastor. She also has three siblings. Growing up, she completed her early education and earned a degree in Bachelor of Arts with honors. Later, she enrolled at the London School of Economics (L.S.E.) before attending the University of Georgia, wherein she pursued a Juris Doctor degree.
