Born on October 26, 1982, in Houston, Texas, Monie Cashette went through difficult years before finally achieving success. When she was barely an adult, at 18, her mother, Felicia Andrea Wardsworth, died of scleroderma. Since then, she has supported non-profit organizations that help fight the disease, inspired by her own history.

In 2016, she gained national recognition as one of the top stars of Lifetime Channel’s hit show “Little Women: Atlanta.” The series portrays the different adventures of a group of friends with big personalities and big dramas, although they all happen to be, in fact, little women. In 2017, Cashette married Morlin Ragland. The wedding and preparations were shown in four special episodes of the series, following the storyline “Monie gets married.”

During the fifth season of “Little Women: Atlanta,” she moved back to Houston to be with her now 15-year-old son from a previous marriage, Derrick “D2” Becton Jr. since she lost the custody battle and couldn’t bring him to Atlanta with her. She eventually returned to the show as the main cast in Season 6. In addition to her reality T.V. career, Cashette was also on The Atlanta Social Club and played Monie the Ladybug on the children’s show “Nubbin & Friends.” She is also a visionary entrepreneur, with a t-shirt line already launched, a shoe line called MonieRose in the making, and her upcoming production company, “Little Woman, Big Business,” just around the corner.
