Hannah Bronfman

Background

Hannah Marcina Bronfman was born in Manhattan, New York City on October 26, 1987. With her father Edgar Bronfman Jr., the former C.E.O. of Warner Music Group, entrepreneurship was in her blood and she was always interested in all things business and investing. While studying fine arts at Bard College, she invested in Hotel Griffou and co-founded a multimedia company called Green Owl with her brother, Benjamin Bronfman. She also started DJing at a bar near her campus and began attracting large crowds. Her first gig at a corporate party was at Dolce & Gabbana’s Fashion Night Out in 2012. From there, she began DJing for corporate clients, such as fashion and technology companies.

Her business career peaked in 2012 when she co-founded a beauty service mobile app, Beautified. This app helped its user find and book beauty services such as gyms, salons, and spas. After the first year of the app’s release, she upgraded the features to cater to the user’s needs and expanded to other major cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles the year after. In 2014, she founded H.B.F.I.T., a health, beauty, and fitness media platform that helps users develop a healthy lifestyle. With now over 102,000 followers on Instagram, H.B.F.I.T. has become one of her longtime successful projects. She is accomplished outside of the business world as well. She made her runway debut in 2014 as a featured model at D.K.N.Y’s Fall Fashion Show. She also became the brand ambassador for several brands like Clinique in 2015 and Adidas in 2017, among others. Passionate about health and beauty, she released her first book titled “Do What Feels Good: Recipes, Remedies, and Routines to Treat Your Body Right” in 2019. Achieving popularity on social media, she has been actively using her social platforms to speak out about social and racial issues. One of the examples is her “History with Hannah” videos on her Instagram account from 2020 in the light of the Black Lives Matter movement. She talked about the contributions that Black people made to the culture in America and the history behind voting and civil rights. Recently, she made a video series with In The Know called “Baby Banter,” where she interviews mothers on their motherhood journey and the challenges that come with it. Some of the guests that she invited are Dr. La Thoma Gustin, Nicole Berrie, and Cassie, among others.

Being a popular figure not only in the business world but also in health and beauty, many people look up to her and want to know more about her personal life. She is married and her first child was born in 2020. Bronfman and her husband, Brendan Fallis, got engaged in August 2015 and married in Marrakesh in May 2017.
