Chip Gaines

Background

Chip Gaines was born on November 14, 1974, to American parents, Bob Gaines and Gayle Gaines. His zodiac sign is Scorpio. Gaines grew up with his sister, Shannon Gaines. They were both raised in Colleyville and went to Grapevine High School. Gaines was an active basketball player. After graduation, he enrolled in the Hankamer School of Business to study marketing.

Gaines and his wife, Joanna, have worked together to build successful businesses. They have numerous revenue streams from several businesses, including Fixer Upper, Magnolia Network, Magnolia Homes, Magnolia Realty, and Hearth & Hand for Target. They have also invested in multiple retail businesses, restaurant businesses, and rental properties in Texas. Gaines and his wife became household names through their hit HGTV show, “Fixer Upper.” The show increased their social media presence and gave them more opportunities to connect with high-end clients. The couple still gets requests from fans who are looking to find their dream home.
