Artigas Day

Artigas Day is celebrated on June 19 every year. It’s a national holiday in Uruguay. It celebrates the birth anniversary of José Gervasio Artigas, who is also known as the father of Uruguayan nationhood. Artigas is considered one of the principal leaders of Latin America, as well as a national hero in Uruguay. He heavily participated in the Latin American wars not only against the Spanish and Portuguese empires but also against the centralist government of Buenos Aires. His bravery and patriotism led not just to the freedom of Uruguayans, but also to the independence of Latin American nations. National Dog Dad Day

National Dog Dad Day is celebrated every year the day before Father’s Day and this year, it falls on June 14. It is an opportunity for all the dog dads out there to acknowledge the love they have for their pets and strengthen the relationship between pups and their owner dads. Like all relationships between humans and pets, the bond between dog and their dog dads is special. The day is recognized so that you can spend time with your dog and give it all the treats it deserves.

National Lincoln Loud Day

National Lincoln Loud Day on June 5 celebrates the fictional character Lincoln Loud in Nickelodeon’s animated television series “The Loud House.” Lincoln Loud, the sixth oldest of nine children, is the middle child and only son of the Loud family. Although Lincoln thinks of himself as a fun-loving guy who always loves partying, this isn’t exactly true. Somewhat lazy, he often comes up with a plan, which usually doesn’t succeed, and, more often than not, blows up in his face when they do happen. Extremely loud, even hyena-like at times, he’s an exaggerated version of a person his age.
