National Peeps Day is celebrated on April 5 every year, and we’re so excited to celebrate by indulging our sweet tooth! We hope you’re as excited, too. While Peeps are usually associated with Easter — and recently with Halloween — their special day is in April. Springtime isn’t only synonymous with April showers and the beautiful blooms, it’s also Peeps season. Everyone — kids and adults — loves Peeps: those brightly colored, sugar-coated marshmallow chicks and bunnies are simply irresistible! It’s no surprise, though those spongy, candied confections with eyes made of edible wax produced in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, have been everyone’s favorite since their inception in 1953. You just can’t stop at one — or two!
Equal Pay Day

Equal Pay Day is observed on March 4 this year in the United States, but the date changes each year. However, Equal Pay Day is an annual observance that symbolizes the ongoing issue of pay disparity and the wage gap between men and women. The date itself symbolizes how far into the year must women work to make as much as men during the previous year. As such, this holiday usually occurs around March or September. Did you know that most countries have a wage gap between men and women?
International Every Girl Wins Day

International Every Girl Wins Day is celebrated on March 13. This holiday helps bring attention to women’s rights worldwide, especially to young girls. The celebrations involve talks, lectures, and conferences on women’s empowerment in every country. The goal is to achieve long-term systemic change that addresses women’s rights to equity. The day also inspires young girls to take pride in their most essential assets. They are encouraged to support each other and be ambassadors of the female empowerment movement, not just beneficiaries of it. The Every Girl Wins Institute introduced this holiday.
