National Pet CBD Day is observed every April 21 to raise awareness about the beneficial properties of cannabidiol and the lives of pets it has improved over the years. Did you know that cannabis has been used in medicine since 2737 B.C.? Cannabidiol, also known as C.B.D., is a phytocannabinoid found in cannabis plants. It does not contain tetrahydrocannabinol, the compound that produces a high when marijuana is consumed. C.B.D. helps people deal with pain, anxiety, cognition, and movement disorders. It is also known to help dogs with epilepsy, cancer, aggression, and mobility. However, more research is still required to confirm these benefits. C.B.D. is usually oil-based, but it’s also sold as an extract, a vaporized liquid, or an oil-based capsule.
Landing of the 33 Patriots Day

Landing of the 33 Patriots Day is a holiday observed every year on April 19 in Uruguay. It honors the first step towards Uruguayan independence, when, in 1825, a military group called the Thirty-Three Orientals valiantly crossed the river and put down their flag in a region of war between Uruguay and Brazil, thus swearing to gain the independence of the country and to fight until it was finally done. A few months later, Uruguay effectively claimed its independence, and later on, kept fighting for Brazilian recognition until it was granted in 1828.
Palm Sunday Orthodox

Palm Sunday Orthodox is annually observed on the Sunday before Easter. This year, it takes place on April 5. It is the first day of the Holy Week — known as the last week of Lent — and commemorates Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Churches distribute palm branches to congregations during Palm Sunday liturgies, representing the palm branches scattered before Christ by the people of Jerusalem upon his entry into the city.
