School Librarian Day

School Librarian Day is observed internationally on April 4. The day is observed to recognize the professionals who keep school libraries well-stocked and the books in perfect order. School librarians spend long hours keeping the library organized. They are also likely to be the first people to help students find the resources they need to learn. They also encourage students to pursue reading outside of academic texts. School librarians are also responsible for creating an environment where students are motivated to learn. Their work is truly an accomplishment.

NCCA Anniversary

The N.C.C.A. Anniversary is observed on April 3 annually. N.C.C.A. stands for National Commission for Culture and the Arts and it is the official government agency for culture in the Philippines. It is the overall policy-making body, coordinating, and grants-giving agency for the preservation, development, and promotion of arts and culture. It is an executing agency for the policies it formulates; it administers the National Endowment Fund for Culture and the Arts (N.E.F.C.A.) exclusively to implement culture and arts programs and projects.

National Inspiring Joy Day

National Inspiring Joy Day is on April 3 every year. The idea came from the “Woman’s World” and “First for Women” magazines, whose objectives were always to spread joy and motivate their audience to live their best lives. On National Inspiring Joy Day, features that offer many ways to help their readers find what makes them happy and share this inspiration with their family, friends, or community, especially feel-good stories and small acts of kindness, are included. Well inspired by them, National Today would like to share ideas to find joy.
