Shubham Goel was born on August 16, 1995. He starred in the first season of “The Circle,” a Netflix reality T.V. show that pits players against each other in a social media battle of likes and dislikes. Before starring in the Netflix Original reality show, “The Circle,” Geol was a product manager at iERP Company for three years. He returned to this profession in 2022 at a new company. Goel is also a successful social media influencer, with over 550,000 followers on Instagram and 200,000 subscribers on YouTube.

“The Circle” premiered in 2020 and Goel was a fascinating player for fans to watch as he was opposed to the premise of the show from the beginning, describing himself as a “Social Medusa.” “The Circle” places players in isolated apartments where they have to interact with each other via a social media platform called The Circle. Players then have to rank each other and the lowest ranked gets eliminated from the show. Players come up with their own arbitrary ranking systems, making this show interesting from a social standpoint. The social-experiment side of the show is what made it blow up almost overnight, and also what drew Goel to enter in the first place.
