The lovely Priah Ferguson, popularly known for her role as Erica in the Netflix film “Stranger Things,” has been acting her way to fame since 2015 and still has much in store for her in the world of film. The young actress was born on October 1, 2006, in Atlanta, Georgia. Ferguson’s father, John, is a design director; her mother, Adjua, is a graphic designer; and her sister Jayda takes an interest in art. Ferguson began her acting career in 2015, when she was nine years old, in short, independent films before appearing in various television series.

In 2016, she made her television debut in two episodes of the “Coffee X Cream” television series, “Mercy Street,” and in an FX Networks show called “Atlanta.” In 2017, she made her first appearance in the Netflix science fiction series “Stranger Things” as Erica. Her exceptional acting led to her being promoted to a recurring character in the popular sci-fi series, and she was cast for seasons three and four. In the same year, she appeared in the comedy-drama film “La Vie Magnifique De Charlie” and the television series “Daytime Divas.”

In 2018, she starred alongside Tiffany Haddish in the comedy film “The Oath.” Ferguson has won the hearts of many “Stranger Things” fans, and her performance in the show has earned her a nomination for the 2020 Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, which was also her very first award nomination. Ferguson is also said to be in the Netflix comedy movie “Boo!” starring Marlon Wayans.
