Kyle Cooke was born on August 4, 1982, in Baltimore, Maryland. He is the son of Peter and Jane McGill Cooke and has a brother named Cory. He graduated from Trinity College with a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2006. In 2011, he graduated from Babson College with an M.B.A. in entrepreneurship.

He ran a contracting business where he worked as a sales representative, investor, and consultant, and served as vice president of sales. Also in 2011, he founded a nightclub named Nightjockey, which he operated until 2012. The show is about nine friends (including Cooke) who live in a house.
