Adrienne Bailon is an American actress, television host, singer, and businesswoman. She was born and raised on the Lower East Side of Manhattan by a Puerto Rican mother and an Ecuadorian father. Her parents divorced when she was young and she lived with her mother and stepfather. In 1999, while performing with a church choir at Madison Square Garden, Bailon was discovered by singer Ricky Martin. Martin scouted the four best singers in the choir, of which Bailon was one, and they performed as backup singers in the Livin’ la Vida Loca Tour concert later that night.

After her performance with Martin, Bailon became part of the girl group 3LW and released three albums from 2000 to 2002. In 2003, Bailon left the group, and she signed on to star in the Disney film “The Cheetah Girls” with Raven-Symoné, Kiely Williams, and Sabrina Bryan. Bailon went on to star in two further “Cheetah Girls” movies. In 2013, Bailon landed a huge job; to be one of the hosts of the daytime television show “The Real.” In 2017, she released her first-ever solo album, which had been delayed by many years, titled “New Tradiciones.”

After her many successes in television and other ventures, Bailon started her YouTube channel called “All Things Adrienne,” which she now uses as a “tips and tricks” platform for fashion, beauty, and more. In her personal life, Bailon married musician Israel Houghton after six months of dating and they are still happily together.
