World Nature Conservation Day

World Nature Conservation Day is an annual event held on July 28. This day stresses the need for preserving a healthy environment and natural resources to maintain a stable and healthy society. Saving plants and animals that face the threat of extinction is one of the primary goals of World Nature Conservation Day. Also, the celebrations emphasize keeping the various components of nature such as flora, fauna, energy resources, soil, water, and air intact. In addition, World Nature Conservation Day underlines the need for preserving the environment for future generations. We are therefore tasked with the need to leave a healthy planet for those coming after us to enjoy.

National Chicken Finger Day

Satisfy your fast food cravings on National Chicken Finger Day, celebrated annually on July 27. Founded by one of the greatest pioneers of chicken fingers — Raising Cane’s — this day honors the perfectly coated snack that is chicken fingers. A specialty that originated in the South, this delicious tidbit is loved by even the most finicky child. They can be used as a food bribe when little ones refuse to eat. Accompanied by just about any of your favorite side dishes, chicken fingers remain a firm favorite.

Auntie’s Day

The world celebrates Auntie’s Day every year on July 26th. Melanie Notkin, the founder of Savvy Auntie, created the holiday to commemorate and celebrate the relationship between aunts and their nephews and nieces. The day honors women who are aunties by relation and aunties by choice. It includes all the people who have aunt-like relationships with their friends’ children, even godmothers. These women nurture, inspire, and love the children around them, impacting their lives.
