Albania Independence Day

Albania Independence Day is celebrated on November 28 of every calendar year in Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and the Albanian diaspora. It celebrates the day the Albanian Declaration of Independence from the Ottoman Empire was adopted by Ismail Qemali on November 28, 1912, and the rise of the Albanian flag in Vlora, coinciding with the day on which Skanderbeg raised the same flag in Krujë, on November 28, 1443. It is the first day of a two-day holiday period as Albania Independence Day is always followed by Liberation Day on November 29.

Anti Obesity Day

Anti-Obesity Day is observed on November 26 of every calendar year. The goal of this day is to highlight how obesity is a public health hazard and encourage people to work towards ending it. It was created in 2001 by the Indian wellness brand V.L.C.C. with the active involvement of the medical fraternity and other key stakeholders in all the countries where it has a presence, as part of an annual campaign conducted in November and December to promote the development of good lifestyle habits to stay healthy and fit.

National Day of Bosnia & Herzigovina

National Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina is observed on November 25 of every calendar year. The day is also known as Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina and it commemorates the anniversary of the day on which Bosnia and Herzegovina was re-established by the Anti-Fascist Council of National Liberation of Yugoslavia in 1943. The Resolution of the State Anti-fascist Council for the National Liberation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Z.A.V.N.O.B.i.H.) declared both Bosnia and Herzegovina’s will for the Federal People’s Republic of Yugoslavia to be their country. Not belonging to the Serbs, Muslims, or Croats, but one of equal rights for all its citizens instead.
