National Workers’ Comp Adjuster Day is observed on August 17. This is an official day dedicated to work comp adjusters. Martyrs’ Day South Sudan

Martyrs’ Day South Sudan is observed every July 30. This day commemorates the death of John Garang de Mabior, who was a Sudanese politician and revolutionary leader. During the Second Sudanese Civil War, he led the Sudan People’s Liberation Army.

Following a peace agreement, he briefly served as First Vice President of Sudan for only three weeks until his death in a helicopter crash on July 30, 2005. The date of his death became marked as Martyr’s Day in South Sudan.
