International Jugglers Day

International Juggler’s Day is observed on April 18 every year. The day honors the art of juggling and its many accomplished practitioners. If you’re looking for a way to have fun with various things, you might consider learning how to juggle them. Toss juggling is the most well-known kind of juggling. Juggling may be done with one or more hands, and one can do it with one or several items at a time. Many jugglers refer to the things they juggle as ‘props.’ Props like balls, clubs, and rings are quite prevalent. Knives, flaming torches, and chainsaws are some of the most dramatic props used by jugglers.

Malbec World Day

Malbec World Day or Dia Mundial del Malbec is observed every year on April 17 to commemorate the day the first agronomy school was founded in Argentina for the study of European grapes, including the Malbec grape. This took place on April 17, 1853, the same year that Argentina’s president, Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, asked a French soil expert to bring new grape varietals to his country. In 2011, Wines of Argentina established April 17 as Malbec World Day.

National Cash Day

National Cash Day is celebrated on April 16. Cash is a surname found in the U.S., the U.K., and many other English-speaking countries. Although stars like Johnny Cash helped make the name world-famous, it has been around for several centuries. In countries like Ireland, Cash can also be a girl’s name, which is often a shortened ‘Cassandra,’ also known as ‘Cass,’ Greek for ‘shining upon men.’ The French word ‘Caisse,’ meaning box or chest, also translates to ‘Cash,’ which means ‘maker of chests,’ which comes from the European tradition of naming people after the profession of their ancestors.
