Stassi Schroeder

Background

Stassi Schroeder is a well-known name in the world of reality television, and for good reason: her reality T.V. career has spanned many genres, from adventure to drama. Schroeder, whose full name is Natassia Bianca Schroeder Clark, was born on June 24, 1988, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her father, Mark, is an architect and her mother, Dayna, is a jewelry designer. Schroeder is the oldest of four children, with two younger brothers Nikolai and Hunter, and a younger sister named Georgianna. The star began taking theater classes at the local high school, Mount Carmel Academy when she was 11, despite being several years too young to attend any high school classes! Schroeder moved to Hollywood when she turned 18 and studied at Loyola Marymount University. She obtained an undergraduate degree in English writing. Shroeder made her first T.V. appearance in 2005 on the 8th season of the reality show “The Amazing Race” along with her father, brother, and step-mother. The teams competing on the show have to solve problems and beat each other to the finish line in foreign countries. Schroeder’s family came in seventh place out of a total of 10 teams.

While still in college, she appeared on the show “Queen Bees” in 2008. The show sees seven young mean-spirited yet popular women stay in a house together to learn how to be kinder to other people. Two years later in 2010, Schroeder started appearing on the T.V. show “Vanderpump Rules” for which she would become famous. The show follows various employees of Lisa Vanderpump from “Real Housewives” fame across her various business ventures. Schroeder left the show at the end of the second season and moved to New York City but returned to intern for Lisa in the third season. In 2014, she entered the world of fashion design when she released a ‘capsule’ (organized outfits) collection with the online retailer, ShopPrimadonna.com. She broke away from reality T.V. when she starred in the television disaster film “Sharknado: The 4th Awakens” in 2016. She returned to reality T.V. by appearing in three episodes of the reality T.V. show “Summer House” (a show about affluent New Yorkers spending weekends at their holiday homes on Long Island) between 2017 and 2019.

In early 2019, she released her first book called “Next Level Basic: The Definitive Basic Bitch Handbook.” Several months later, she launched a clothing line collection with JustFab. At the end of that year, she started a digital series with her husband, Beau Clark. The show, called “Basically Stassi,” follows her and her various guests as they discuss topics like love and relationships while playing games. She continued her writing career by writing a wedding column for three months for “Glamour” magazine called ‘Basic Bride.’ She announced the launch of a podcast in collaboration with her husband about family life and parenting called “The Good The Bad The Baby” in 2021. Her second book, “Off with My Head: The Definitive Basic Bitch Handbook to Surviving Rock Bottom” is slated to be released in April 2022.
