Lauren Keyana Palmer was born on August 26, 1993, in Harvey, Illinois, U.S. She has African-American ethnicity. Her parents were professional actors before having Palmer and settling for full-time jobs. Her mom, Sharon Palmer, works as a teacher for kids with autism. In 2005 she signed a deal with Atlantic Records. In 2007 she released her debut album, “So Uncool.” The album had strong contemporary R&B influences and was mostly teen-oriented. Palmer also has three E.P.s, “Lauren” (2016), “Virgo Tendencies, Pt. 1” (2019), and “Virgo Tendencies, Pt. 2” (2020). Among Palmer’s most recent projects, she is set to do the voice of Izzy in the “Toy Story” spinoff, “Lightyear.”
